Summer Idaho Trip 2009

It is a tradition of ours to head up to Idaho during the summer to escape the heat for a few weeks. And having a baby wasn't going to stop us! So two weeks after giving birth to James we were on our way.
We stopped in Utah for a couple days to visit Bens brothers and there families. The kids had a blast playing in the soft grass and fun swing set that Paul and Margaret had set up. We also got to see a lot of Dan and Brooke, which was awesome. While in Idaho we stayed with Bens brother Dave and his wife Katie and just had a great time relaxing during the days in the perfect Idaho weather and eating homemade raspberry ice cream from the berries we would pick at night. It was so weird because the sun wouldn't go down until nine, so we were always up pretty late. It is always so great to see Alivia and Mia get to play with cousins they don't see very much. The moment we get over to Bens parents house the girls are gone. This year it was out to explore the play house all the boy cousins were fixing up for sisters week. Sisters week is when all of the sisters and sister-in-laws come to enjoy each others company and let the kids run around John and Colleens huge yard. I feel like we didn't do as much as we usually do when we're there due to the baby, but it was still a great time hanging out with Bens family!
