Christmas Eve at the Liljenquist Home

Christmas Eve is a night that is a bit more quiet at the Liljenquist home. They typically don't celebrate Christmas until the 26th out of tradition and also convenience, since it allows the family from Utah to have there Christmas then travel up for the 26th Christmas. However, since we were here this year we decided to implement our own Christmas Eve traditions. We baked the pizzas, had a lot of yummy finger foods, gathered with Bens brother Dave and family and his sister Ruth and family who came from AZ, Ben grandmother also came from AZ, opened our Christmas jammies, watched the Nativity, and after tucking the kiddos into bed, turned into Santa's Elves. Typically, Christmas Day is spent visiting people, bringing gifts and providing service around town. Ben and Alivia joined the family in doing this, while I took a much needed nap and then fixed food for all of the family who was traveling for the 26th. Over all it was a great day!
